Frequently Asked Questions

Good questions, straight answers

Do you guarantee your service?

Yes. If the problem comes back within the guarantee period, so do we, at no extra charge. Call us and we’ll be out as soon as we can.

Sometimes. It depends on the pest and how established it is. Some problems are finished in a single visit; others need a follow-up to break the breeding cycle properly. Your technician will tell you which one you’re looking at before any work starts, not after.

They’re after warmth and easy food, and they’ll use the smallest gap to get to it — a mouse fits through a space about the width of a pencil. Working out which gap they’re using is part of the inspection. Our lockable bait stations deal with the ones already inside.

Because they’re built for it. They hide in cracks you’d never think to look in, they’ll eat almost anything, and a single female can produce 30 to 50 young roughly every month. Spraying the ones you can see doesn’t touch the rest, which is why we use gel baiting to reach the colony behind the walls.

Is there a call-out fee?

Not within 25 km of Cape Town. Further out, we’ll confirm any travel cost when we quote, so there’s nothing unexpected on the bill.

It depends on the size of the area and how bad the infestation is, but most treatments are done in 30 to 45 minutes.

No. Our products are odourless and low-toxicity, so there’s nothing lingering afterwards and no need to move out for the day. Safe around children and pets once the treatment has settled.

For most homes, once or twice a year keeps things under control. If you back onto a greenbelt, a river or an empty plot, or you’ve had a serious infestation before, more regular treatment makes sense. We’ll recommend a schedule based on what we find, and we don’t lock homeowners into contracts.
