Rodent Control
They found a way in. We'll find it too.
Scratching in the ceiling. Droppings behind the fridge. Wiring chewed through that you only notice when something stops working. Our SAPCA-registered technicians inspect the property, work out where they’re getting in and where they’re running, and place lockable bait stations that kids and pets can’t touch. Guaranteed.
Know what's living in your roof
Rats and mice nest in different places and behave differently. Select one to see how we deal with it.
Roof rats
Excellent climbers that live above you: ceilings, roof voids, and the trees or creepers touching your wall. You’ll hear them after dark, running the same route every night. We bait along those runs and check the roofline for the gap they’re using.
Ceilings · roof voids · overhanging trees
Norway rats
Bigger, heavier and ground-based. They burrow under paving, sheds and compost heaps, and come in at drain level. Their teeth never stop growing, so they gnaw through insulation, cabling and stored goods to keep them down. We work the perimeter and go after the burrows directly.
Drains · burrows · outbuildings
House mice
Small, curious and always breeding. A mouse gets through a gap the width of a pencil, which is how they end up in cupboards, behind appliances and inside ceilings. They don’t travel far, so treatment goes where they nest and feed: indoors, close to the food.
Kitchens · cupboards · behind appliances
Not sure what you’re hearing? Send us a photo of the droppings or the damage on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you what you’re dealing with.
Four signs you've got company
Droppings
small, dark, and clustered where they feed. Fresh ones are soft and shiny.
Sound
scratching and scurrying overhead, usually after sunset.
Gnaw marks
on skirtings, cables, pipes and food packaging.
Smell
a sharp, musky ammonia smell that gets stronger the longer they stay.
Poison alone doesn't solve it
Killing the rodents inside is half the job. Keeping the next lot out is the other half. Your technician inspects first, then combines the methods that suit your property, your layout and whoever else lives there.
Activity drops within 1–2 days of stations going in
Lockable bait stations
Strong, effective bait housed in a station that locks shut and anchors in place. The bait stays dry, and children, pets and wildlife can’t reach it. Only the rodents can. We place them indoors and outdoors, on the runs the rodents are actually using rather than where you happened to see one.
Best for: rats and mice · homes and businesses · ongoing protection
Entry-point proofing
Bait deals with the rodents already inside. Proofing stops the next ones. We seal the gaps they’re using: roof entry points, damaged eaves, service pipe openings and drain access.
Best for: roof rats · repeat problems · long-term prevention
Traps and monitoring
Where poison isn’t appropriate, such as food preparation areas, we use traps and monitoring points instead. Same result, no rodenticide in the room.
Best for: kitchens · food premises · sensitive areas
Roof clean-out and sanitising
After a heavy infestation, we clear and sanitise the roof space so you’re not left with the mess, the smell or the lice they leave behind.
Best for: severe infestations · long-standing roof activity

Good questions, straight answers
Anything else on your mind? Call us on 067 743 2959, we’re happy to talk it through.
Are the bait stations safe around children and pets?
Yes. The stations lock shut and anchor in place, so the bait stays sealed inside where only rodents can reach it. We never leave loose poison on a property.
How fast will I see a difference?
Most clients see rodent activity drop within a day or two of the stations going in.
How are mice getting into my home?
They’re after warmth and easy food, and they’ll use the smallest gap to get to it. Finding which gap is part of the inspection.
Do you guarantee your service?
